RA Maximilian Schwärecke, LL.M.

As attorney-at-law he absolved his legal education in Berlin at the Humboldt University of Berlin and the Kammergericht (Berlin Superior Court of Justice), as well as in Shanghai at Tongji University. In his education he has specialized in legal drafting and legal policy, comparative legal studies on European and Chinese law, and, in particular, the law of (international) dispute resolution.

Before joining CONSILIUM as a consultant, he worked as a lawyer in a leading international law firm (magic circle) in the field of public commercial law. He worked primarily on mandates advising several international energy companies and German investment promotion banks in the context of crisis State aid to mitigate the consequences of the war in Ukraine. He also advised several international corporate transactions, particularly in the infrastructure sector, on their regulatory aspects.
