Silvia Ates studied law in Leipzig and Munich. She then completed an LL.M. in International Public Law at Koç University in Istanbul. During her studies, she gained her first work experience in internationally operating commercial law firms, in an energy start-up and in Geneva while working for the Permanent Mission of Germany to the United Nations.
